Hope Healey is a graduate student in the Cresko lab where she does research on syngnathid fishes. She received her bachelor’s degree in zoology from Michigan State (MSU) in 2018. While at MSU, she worked for Dr. Scott Peacor on Michigan zooplankton and Dr. Jason Gallant on electric fish. She developed a love for teleost fishes while in the Gallant lab and is fortunate to continue working unique fish models in the Cresko lab.
